Rubber Stamp Mat - Ginkgo Toss - 10x12.5cm

Everybody loves a ginkgo leaf!  A beautiful texture which can transform your jewellery project or be used as a stamp when 'inked up' with ColorLine paint and printed directly onto your glass.

The depth of the profile is ideal for all types of Metal Clays but also for Polymer Clay or other types of modelling compounds. Coat or spray the surface of the mat with a thin layer of oil. Best results are achieved if you roll your clay beforehand to a thickness about 1 mm thicker than finally desired. Then place the flat clay on the mat and roll it to the desired thickness using the slats. Then pull the mat from the clay (not the clay from the mat) and continue with the project.

Or for a quick but effective glass project, why not fire some coaster sized blanks to full fuse, then coat the stamp with ColorLine paint using a roller and place it on your blank, use a clean roller to roll over the back of the stamp and transfer the pattern onto your coaster.  Fire on a standard programme to 760C for a very simple but eyecatching result!

The texture mat can of course also a be used as a regular stamp with stamping ink.
