We are very pleased to welcome Joy back once again with this very special class!

These are very special itty-bitty silver boxes! For the bottom you will design and create an organic shaped box with not a straight side in sight; it’s all about the flowing lines. You'll form your box shape with a beautiful texture all the way around and perhaps add some extra little embellishments too.  The lid you create will fit the shape of your unique box perfectly, so it sits nice and snug and can't fall off.  The choice is yours when it comes to the sculpture on top… Joy loves birds and animals but maybe you have another idea.  What fun creation will you come up with?  Joy will have plenty of tips and advice to help you make your tiny sculpture completely freehand, without any moulds! But the fun doesn’t stop there. After firing the box and lid you'll add 24k gold highlights using the keum boo method.

This workshop includes 35g of Art Clay Silver, plus 24k Art Clay gold foil, refreshments and lunch. Combine this with an expert teacher, fully equipped studio and wonderful fellow Art Clayers for a truly brilliant 2 days.   Oh and you get to make teeny-tiny treasure box to take home too!

Skill Level: Prior metal clay experience required.
