14 Nov 2014 - Simply Charming PART 2 with Amanda Mires

PART 2 of a series of 2 mini workshops led by our in-house Senior Art Clay Instructor.  Amanda will take you through the step-by-step process of creating fabulous fine silver charms in just 2½ hours.  You are welcome to join in for either individual class or sign up for both and receive a £15 voucher to spend in-store!

PART 1 - Friday 3^rd October 2014(10am-12.30pm)

Create fine silver charms from Art Clay Silver with the opportunity to use a moulding compound to recreate found objects and of using UV resin to add colour to your work.

PART 2 – Friday 14th November 2014 (10am-12.30pm)

This class focuses on learning how to make keepsake charms.  After making our Art Clay Silver charms we will add a fingerprint or personal photo to make something very individual.

You can then turn your little charms into a bracelet, phone accessory etc.  They make ideal little gifts or maybe a treat just for you!  This may be your first venture into Art Clay, you may want to hone existing skills, add a new technique, or simply meet up for a coffee with like-minded people and take home a stunning new piece of jewellery.

Materials for each workshop: 10g Art Clay Silver (to create 3-5 charms depending on size), a trendy bracelet, or phone/key ring findings.  All necessary tools and equipment will be provided for students to use on the workshops.  Tea, Coffee and biscuits are also included.

No prior metal clay experience necessary.
